Winter - Basketball League

(3rd - 8th grade)

The Las Lomitas League basketball program is open to all Las Lomitas and La Entrada students (and non-student residents) in 3rd through 8th grades in the Las Lomitas Elementary School District. Registration is open!

Our Menlo Park Basketball league is back this year and WE NEED COACHES! Care to help? Let us know here.

Registration

Students may withdraw for a refund if the registrar is contacted within one week of notification of your team placement. There will be no refunds after this time. Our system requires we pay a fee for every registration up front, therefore any cancellations are refunded minus a $25 non-refundable processing fee.
We are unable to accommodate the placement of players on specific teams for carpooling or friendship purposes.
We cannot permit players to switch teams once teams are announced without the approval of the Basketball Athletic Director.

$225 per player through 10/31. $250 ($25 late fee applied) after 10/31.

Player evaluation day will be held at the La Entrada Gym on the schedule below. Evaluations are used strictly to divide each grade level into fair and balanced teams. If your student is unable to attend their assigned evaluation time, please inform your division coordinator.

Your team will have 2 practices and 1 game a week for the season.

PLAYERS are required to participate in all practices & games. We rely on all players and coaches to make the same commitments to the team, so please DO NOT sign up your player if your schedule doesn't allow.

League Information

Our 3rd through 7th grade teams participate in the Menlo Park Youth Basketball League run by the City of Menlo Park Recreation Department. Games are played from December through March at the Arrillaga Family Gymnasium.
Our varsity teams (8th grade boys and 7th-8th grade girls) participate in the Mid-Peninsula Middle School League (MPMSL). This recreational league for varsity teams operates under the same philosophies as the Menlo Park Youth Basketball League, but games are played at La Entrada, Hillview, Corte Madera and Woodside Elementary.
