An introduction class to the popular yogaRok class! Designed as an athletic fun, power yoga class enhanced with pumping fun music. Learn proper form, alignment and prevent injuries or treat past injuries thru yoga! Breathing techniques and learning something new assists off the mat and enhances all aspects of life. Isabel Barros is an avid yogi and researcher. She was trained in the Baptiste method and has been teaching since 2013. Isabel incorporates various dance and rhythm techniques during her classes to keep the atmosphere lively. She likes to incorporate upbeat music along with soothing cool down music. Isabel has spent the past three years teaching mindfulness and yoga to kids ages 5-18. She values the importance of listening to your body’s queues and maintaining breath and sensory awareness throughout class. Isabel has also done research for Stanford and is interested in learning the science behind yoga.
Studio Rincon offers yoga, dance & fitness classes for both men & women and children. Located in West Menlo Park, near Stanford, Woodside, Portola Valley, Atherton, Palo Alto and Redwood City, our goal is to be inclusive to anyone and offer the best instruction and personal attention. Children can learn dance in a fun, nurturing environment and Adults can ‘escape’ or meet a friend for a healthy activity by enjoying one of the many fitness classes.
