Yoga for Kids Spring (1st - 3rd grade)

Yoga is about exploring and learning in a fun, safe and playful way. Yoga and kids are a perfect match. Here is what children (and adults!) can learn from yoga: Yoga teaches kids about their bodies, better breathing techniques, ways to quiet their minds, and improve their balance.

Class Dress Requirements:
– Comfortable exercise top or shirt
– Leggings, or exercise shorts/pants
– Non-marking rubber-soled shoes or sneakers, or bare feet
– Avoid wearing skirts, sandals, or slippers

Instructor Biography:

Shogher was a professional dancer in a contemporary/Oriental fusion dance group back home, in Lebanon. She has quit dancing after she finished her MBA degree and started teaching youth yoga and dance. Shogher (200RYT) is also a yoga instructor practicing for over 10 years. Shogher was first introduced to yoga during her years as a professional dancer. Shogher teaches yoga tap/ballet, hip/hop, and folk dance.
