PENINSULA YOUTH THEATER’S School Play in a Box: Budding Stars is a great way for students to make new friends, and build confidence. For the spring term, we will be offering a musical theatre program! Young hoofers and singers learn to sing, dance and tell a story in the grand old Broadway tradition. These young performers will learn how to express character and emotion through physicality and song, learning some basic Broadway dance terminology vocal technique along the way. Students will perform two choreographed songs for friends and family on the last day of class (May 1st). Parents will be responsible for communicating with the instructor via email, providing their child with a simple costume (instructions will be provided), and helping with props (when needed).
