Does your child enjoy eating a variety of different cuisines and or desserts, or maybe you are looking for some new, easy and fun recipes especially for children that they will want to cook at home.
If your child loves to cook and or bake, then this 13 week after school delicious and exciting culinary adventure will enhance their culinary skills and senses!
From grocery shopping tips, storing food, menu planning, prepping, trying out new recipes and ingredients, understanding your culinary interests and senses, cutting to mincing, baking, plating and serving techniques, knife skills, food safety and cleaning up, these cooking classes designed just for kids are the perfect blend of learning professional cooking and baking techniques.
These are interactive cooking classes, so there will always be time for learning, questions and answers.
For the final class the children will be given the opportunity to plan the menu, if they wish.
All ingredients will be provided and recipes will be emailed.
Classes are offered Thursdays and Fridays.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Banana and Chocolate Chip Bread
Brownies with Custard
The savory recipes include:
Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Potato and Pea Samosas
Personal Pan Pizzas
Chicken and Spaghetti Parmesan
Turkey Meatball Bolognese
Garlic and Cheese Pull Apart Bread
The same recipes will be taught for the Thursday and Friday class.

Chef Meenu teaches cooking and baking classes to children and adults.
She teaches a multitude of cuisines, and her specialty is Indian cuisine.
Her philosophy and goals are to inspire children to cook, try out new ingredients/dishes and equip them with lifelong culinary skills and healthy eating habits.
Chef Meenu teaches 12 cooking classes weekly at La Entrada School, Las Lomitas School, The Phillips Brooks School, Woodland School, as well as to a group of home schooled children.
She has worked as a chef at several cooking schools including Sur La Table, Draeger’s and the Jewish Community Center.
Chef Meenu is the mother of two La Entrada graduates!
