La Entrada is teaming up with Peninsula Youth Theatre to offer after-school drama this year. Students will learn the basics of acting and storytelling while having fun and rehearsing a short play (Peter Pan).
The program culminates in a final performance for family and friends on November 13th at 4 pm (*please note that this is a minimum day; however, we will still have our final dress rehearsal during our regular class time, 2:55 – 4:00 pm*). Parents will be responsible for providing their child’s simple costume (instructions provided) and helping with line memorization at home.
The legend of Peter Pan is a festive journey that’s been delighting audiences for over 100 years. In this swashbuckling adventure, we join Peter and the Darling family as they are whisked away to Neverland, a famous land full of colorful characters including the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and, of course, the dastardly Captain Hook. Please note, this is a one-act version of Peter Pan, not the full-length musical.
