Creative Play Fall (1-3 grade)

We will explore many mediums to encourage creativity such as improvisation, drawing, environmental art, working with clay, collage and sumi ink painting. Emphasis is on the process and idea forming rather than a finished product. We will be working outdoors whenever possible, challenging each other and having fun.

Example of a class: Write down 5 things about your personality. Present these to the class. What animal can you associate with one of these traits. Using your body to act out what that animal is, the class will try and guess. Partner with a class mate and make a scenario with these two animals. Draw your animal with your eyes closed.
