Drew has 12 years experience as a filmmaker, visual artist and educator. He studied film, theater and anthropology at the University of Iowa before completing his Masters in Visual Anthropology at University of California-Santa Cruz.  He uses experiential learning techniques to teach students the fundamental skills required to create compelling films- including screenwriting, storyboarding, acting, directing, animation, green-screen composition and editing. Drew’s narrative and documentary films have been featured at international film festivals including the Latin American Film Festival in Buenos Aires.  His ability to create award-winning content translates to his ability to inspire young people to make top-notch videos. Students are encouraged to turn their ideas for short films into videos that they publish online, while acquiring new skills in each of the subtopics of filmmaking.
