A fun hip hop class for kids who enjoy music, dancing and getting some energy out on the dance floor! Students will begin with a warm up, learn various techniques and work on a dance routine each week. Music is age appropriate and children should wear comfortable dance or tennis shoes. There will be a final performance for parents/caregivers for the last 10 minutes of the last class.

Deanna has had a passion for performing since she started walking. She has been choreographing since grade school when she formed a performance team at the age of 8. Deanna discovered her love for Hip-Hop culture at the age of 12 when she joined the “Somewhere To Turn” Break Dance crew. Throughout high-school, she continued her dance training with the award-winning competitive youth team; “Young Skull Club”. Since then, Deanna has taught in many dance studios and schools all throughout the Bay Area. She has choreographed for numerous schools including; Rainbow Preschool & Daycare, Las Lomitas Elementary, Kennedy Middle School, Sequoia High school, and Canada College. She has also managed multiple dance summer camps at Community Street Jam. Since 2013, she has directed her own award-winning youth dance company, “Juvenescence”. In 2015, she became the lead choreographer of the Heels performance team “Fierce Nation”. Now at the age of 20, Deanna teaches many different dance styles such as: Street Jazz, Contemporary, Bollywood, Ballroom, Heels, Ballet Folklorico and Dance hall. However, Hip-Hop will always be her favorite.
