Calling all serious cooks and food fans! Join other students with cooking experience on Wednesdays for a weekly adventure creating gourmet dishes from around the globe. Our most popular menus have included fancy Japanese Sushi Rolls, French Crepes, and Italian Pasta and Focaccia, all made from scratch. We’ll choose from those themes and also explore Southeast Asian Pad Thai, Korean Grilled Foods, Indian Naan and Tikkas, and Chinese Dumplings or Crispy Chicken. But wait, what about sweets? We’ll vote on whether to make Fruit-filled English Trifle, French Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce, Chinese Paper Cakes, or Italian Tiramisu. Come vote for your favorites. Linda enjoys teaching hands-on cooking classes for children and families. “I love hearing that my students are trying new recipes, helping their parents cook, and tasting new foods. Becoming more comfortable in the kitchen is my goal for these kids. It’s a lesson that will last them a lifetime!”
Linda started Cooking FUNdamentals 16 years ago to teach culinary arts in the Bay Area. When she’s not at the schools, she’s probably teaching culinary classes in private homes, or working gigs with fine dining caterers, or testing new recipes on her patient hubby.
