If you like to explore more challenging culinary projects, and also pick up 10 key skills that every chef should know, come to the Wednesday cooking class where we’ll be creating awesome recipes that will impress your friends and family. We’ll start by comparing two styles the classic scrambled egg – “Gordon Ramsay’s versus everyone else’s”. Either one makes a delightful topping on grilled sourdough. Learn the best ways to handle fruits and vegetables, then join a lively plating competition. We’ll poach or fry eggs to top Asian grain bowls, blend berries and fruits for smoothies, and make fruit or chocolate pies (and more) for the holidays. There will be choices, so please come vote on your favorites (Please alert Linda to any dietary restrictions or food allergies).

Linda enjoys teaching hands-on cooking classes for children and families. “I love hearing that my students are trying new recipes, helping their parents cook, and tasting new foods. Becoming more comfortable in the kitchen is my goal for these kids. It’s a lesson that will last them a lifetime!” Linda started Cooking FUNdamentals 16 years ago to teach culinary arts in the Bay Area. When she’s not at the schools, she’s probably teaching culinary classes in private homes, or working gigs with fine dining caterers, or testing new recipes on her patient hubby.
